Fire Walk Challenge

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that sponsored me on the Fire Walk Challenge that took place on the 17th March in aid of St Clares Hospice.

After some of the bad press it had received recently due to one or two people suffering burns only 19 people were brave enough (or stupid enough) to face the challenge.

We had over a 2 hour induction before we were allowed to walk over 20 feet of wood embers that were burning at 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit

I'm glad to say that their was no major injuries reported by anyone, just one or 2 blisters received here and there which is a credit to the excellent team who organised it
